Our client is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic Finance & Accounting team at their San Francisco headquarters. Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, check requests, and weekly payment runs.
• Manage AP disbursement for vendor and contractor payments (ACH, wires, checks).
• Ensure accurate and timely daily invoice processing.
• Review and verify invoice details for validity and proper transaction matching.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, W-9 requests, and maintain vendor master/1099 records.
• Respond to vendor and employee inquiries to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
• Review AP Aging weekly and resolve outstanding items.
• Coordinate with purchasing for PO-related invoices, ensuring proper 2-way/3-way matching.
• Handle vendor correspondence via phone and email.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.

Work Environment

• Onsite position at our San Francisco headquarters.
• Paid parking not provided.

Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable/payable or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
