Bilingual Aide – Albertville City Schools (Alabama)

Spur, a digital staffing agency , is seeking hard-working and punctual Bilingual Aides for Albertville City Schools .

Position Overview

The Bilingual Aide will support teachers and school staff in creating a positive learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English , have experience working with children, and maintain a friendly and professional attitude . This role may include both full-time and on-demand opportunities, based on school needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom setup.
• Help plan and organize group and individual learning activities .
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
• Provide individual and group support to reinforce learning.
• Offer enrichment and remedial assistance as needed.
• Assist with testing and evaluation of student progress.
• Promote positive student engagement and interaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the learning environment.
• Be available for on-call assignments as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Must obtain a State of Alabama Background Check ($48.00).
• Must obtain a Substitute License 
• Completion of required online training .
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older
• Proof of High School Diploma or GED document
• Must have either 48 college credit hours/ Assocuates degree or higher / ACT workkeys

Compensation & Schedule

• $15.00 per hour .
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (when school is in session) . (Hours may vary by location.)
