Job Description

• Operate the bus in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.
• Pick up and deliver employees, students, and guests as per a schedule.
• Operate the bus in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Perform safety and maintenance checks.
• Clean the bus as scheduled and/or required.
• Ensure the bus is safely and securely stored.

• Valid driver’s license/Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is  required .
• A valid CDL license with air brakes and passenger endorsement is  required .
• Ability to be insurable is  required .
• Be able to work as needed for students and the instructors is  required .
• Must provide courteous treatment of and assistance to visitors, be able to work frequently in a seated position, high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and damage to vehicle when operating car, truck, or buses on campus and public roads and experience in long-distance driving required. Personal history must be free of criminal convictions which legally precludes employment in a position of trust
