**Job Title: CNC Programmer and Operator $30 - $35/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills, ensuring the production of precision parts according to engineering specifications. **Responsibilities** + Develop CNC programs for lathes and mills using G-code and CAM software. + Perform machine setups, including tooling selection, offsets, and fixture installation. + Execute changeovers and tear-downs efficiently. + Operate CNC machines to produce parts per engineering specifications. + Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements. + Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain tolerances. + Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. + Maintain accurate documentation of setups and programs. + Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency with CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines. + Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills. + In-depth knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies. + Experience with CNC Programming, including the use of G-Code and CAM software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with Mastercam, Solidworks, and AutoCAD. + Experience with CMM programming and prototype machining. + Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas machine setups. + Competency in CAD software development. **Work Environment** Work in a job shop environment that is climate-controlled to ensure comfort. The standard working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spartanburg, SC. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
