Contact Center Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX | Onsite (Potential for remote after training)
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $17.50/hour
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• W2 Employment
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
As a Contact Center Specialist, you’ll serve as the front line for one of the DFW area's major hospitals. You will assist patients and families with appointment scheduling, registration, and service inquiries. Your communication skills and attention to detail will directly impact patient experience and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer inbound calls and electronic requests from patients, families, and external contacts
• Register new patients and schedule healthcare appointments accurately
• Provide clear responses to general inquiries, complaints, and service concerns
• Document interactions using hospital web-based systems in a paperless environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly and professionally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of call center experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Stable work history required (no frequent job changes)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Web-based scheduling platforms
• Electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Multi-line phone systems
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Internal messaging/email platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior healthcare or medical scheduling experience
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
