Controller (Client Opening) Location Murfreesboro, TN : Rehmann is seeking a Controller for our client, Dexter Stamping, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Responsibilities: - Provide monthly balance sheet, income statements and prepare financial statements to Finance Manager for review and analysis.
- Provide Company's financial institution reports as required.
- Advise management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
- Provide reports on cost effective data on dollars within the company.
- Generate weekly reports to Finance Manager on goals and activities.
- Responsible for all tax liabilities of the Company.
- Participate in the year end audit and physical inventory.
- Facilitate the maintenance of lowest possible inventory.
- Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Track profit on all production parts.
- Maintain daily financial responsibilities.
- Submit financial statements to Finance Manager.
- Establish, or recommend to management, major economic objectives and policies for company.
- Prepare reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Recommend best practices for saving on dollars spent on a monthly basis.
- Provide cost justification for expenditures.
- Direct determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
- Interface with other departments to meet company goals.
- Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures, including environmental and quality standards.
- Commits to the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality and Environmental Management systems.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance, Accounting or related field
- Masters in Finance or Accounting Preferred
- CPA license preferred but not required
- 5+ years experience in an Accounting Management role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Able to operate Company vehicle and meet insurance carrier requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex information.
