Job Description

This is a remote position.

Catalyx is seeking an experienced Business Development leader to spearhead the growth of our Professional & Managed Services portfolio in the US. This is a senior role, and we are looking for a candidate who brings both hands-on sales experience and the ability to operate at a strategic, relationship-driven level.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts focused on professional and managed services across pharma and biotech clients in the US.
  • Build awareness within existing Catalyx client accounts, where we are often known for automation and systems integration but less recognized for our services capabilities.
  • Drive new client acquisition in line with Catalyx’s growth strategy, targeting large pharma hubs in the US.
  • Partner closely with our commercial sales team to position the full breadth of Catalyx’s capabilities.
  • Develop and own senior-level relationships with client stakeholders in manufacturing, packaging, quality, IT, and supply chain functions.
  • Represent Catalyx in industry forums, networks, and conferences, further embedding our profile in the US pharma ecosystem.

Requirements

  • A substantial network within life sciences/pharma, particularly in the US.
  • Demonstrated success in selling services/people-based solutions (e.g., consulting, outsourcing, managed services, or FSP).
  • Strong business development acumen with a track record of growing accounts and building long-term client partnerships.
  • A strategic mindset combined with hands-on sales execution.
  • Proven ability to navigate large, complex client organizations and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ambition to step into a leadership role that will be shaped around the right candidate.
