Job Summary

Working as the Executive Chef for a brand new, gourmet French food and delicatessen outlet located at 1100 Avenue of the Americas, you are responsible for the effective execution of culinary services for the 75-100 seat restaurant. Fauchon serves Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch Monday through Sunday and closes to the public at 4pm. The outlet will be open for private events in the evenings Monday through Friday. This location is scheduled to open at the end of September.

French Culinary Training is required in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Culinary Excellence aligned with Fauchon and R/A brand standards

• Manage a team of salaried and hourly associates

• Build outstanding relationships with the clients

• Manage cost controls and controls expenditures for the account

• Plan and create all menus

• Purchase and manage inventory

• Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Formal French Culinary Training

• Three to five years of culinary management experience

• High volume production and catering experience

• Previous experience managing cost controls

• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
