Job Overview: Abacus Staffing is seeking skilled warehouse associates to join our dynamic team in Walton Kentucky - a fast-paced distribution center. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties:

• Operate forklift equipment including, reach truck, cherry picker, sit down and stand-up equipment to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Handle and transport materials or products to designated areas
• Pick items according to size, color, quantity and SKU number
• Utilize an RF Scanner
• Use carts and robots to pick items efficiently
  
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain optimal workflow and meet daily operational goals.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating equipment.

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a distribution center - please specify which forklifts you have experience with when applying.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Minimum 1-year proven forklift experience is required.

Weekly Pay!

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: 1st Shift $19.50/Hour | 2nd Shift $21.50 | W/K Shift $20.50

1st Shift Schedules:

• Mon-Fri - 7am-3:30pm -8/Hrs
• Mon -Thurs - 6am-4:30pm - 10/Hrs
• Tues – Fri - 6am-4:30pm - 10/Hrs

2nd Shift Schedule:

• Sun-Thurs 5pm-1:30am- 8/Hrs

Weekend Shift Schedule:

• Saturdays ONLY 6am-2:30pm
