Job Description

We are hiring General Laborers in Hawkins, Texas (75765) for a temporary 2-month contract paying $18 per hour . Steel toe shoes are required. This role involves operating machinery, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work area. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and physically capable of performing manual labor. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, reliability, and teamwork skills while following supervisor instructions and company policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery and/or equipment safely and efficiently according to supervisor instructions.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed to move, load, or unload materials.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and ensuring machine guards and safety features are functional.
• Load and unload raw materials and/or finished products.
• Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain housekeeping and general maintenance in the work area.
• Adhere to all workplace rules, policies, and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in general labor, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for long periods.
• Must wear steel toe shoes and adhere to all PPE requirements.
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and quality of work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to perform a variety of physical and operational tasks as needed.
