Job Description

We’re searching for an enthusiastic, hardworking laundry attendant committed to providing our guests with an exceptional stay at our hotel. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as receiving, sorting, cleaning, folding, and distributing linen and terry in accordance with our brand standards and procedures. Working behind the scenes allows the laundry attendant to ensure housekeeping is consistently supplied with fresh, clean linen. Ideally, you have experience with industrial washing products and the capacity to lift 20 or more pounds regularly. You must demonstrate a strong attention to detail, time management, and a commitment to quality. Responsibilities:

• Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods
• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed
• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the Director of Suite Operations if any are running low
• Dry all laundry according to the cycles set
• Treat any stained linen according to the stain
• Monitor all laundry equipment and notify Maintenance and the Director of Suite Operations of any issues
• Complete the daily shift checklist
• Monthly inventory

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• Possess a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 or more years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper, or similar role is strongly desired
