Job Description

Job Summary: The Laundry Room Attendant at Canaan Valley Resort is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the resort's laundry facilities. This includes washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and other laundry items used throughout the resort. The Attendant will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the laundry room area. Compensation & Benefits: As a full-time hourly role, this position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity for advancement within the resort. Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the laundry room, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and other laundry items.
• Ensure all laundry is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect all linens for stains and damages, and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Manage inventory levels and submit supply orders as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling laundry.
• Clean and maintain the laundry room area, including machines, floors, and surfaces.
• Assist with the distribution and delivery of clean laundry to various areas of the resort.
• Communicate effectively with guests and other resort staff to ensure their laundry needs are met.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests and address any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:

• Basic math and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.
