Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Shift: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Contract Duration: 6+ weeks with possible extension
The Certified Medical Assistant will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within a healthcare clinic setting. This role requires proficiency in both front-office and back-office operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality patient care. The CMA will assist with patient intake, clinical procedures, scheduling, communication, and general support for daily clinic operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and room patients, ensuring efficient patient flow.
Perform clinical duties including vitals, phlebotomy/venipuncture, EKGs, administering vaccines, and POC testing.
Provide front-office support including scheduling, answering phone calls, and assisting with patient inquiries.
Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Support providers with exams, procedures, and treatment room preparation.
Maintain a collaborative and professional working relationship with clinical and administrative staff.
Follow proper infection control procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Provide patient education as directed by the provider.
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included).
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred .
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred .
Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR usage required.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and solid computer skills.
Passion for patient education, outreach, and high-quality care.
