Appointments at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor rank will be considered. Applications are specifically sought in any area encompassing materials science and engineering, and their intersections with advanced manufacturing and fabrication, energy, health, sustainability, and materials for extreme environments. Novel material designs, leveraging artificial intelligence and advanced experimental techniques and material characterization, are of particular interest, as are cross-cutting efforts involving material design, synthesis, and fabrication at the intersections with Columbia Engineering Initiatives and Centers, the Sciences, the Climate and Medical Schools, and the Data Science Institute.
