MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF ORDER PICKING OR WAREHOUSE EXPERIENCE.

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Order Picker for a vinyl manufacturing company in their Logistics department in the city of Placentia, CA.

Schedule: 1st shift 8:30 AM- 4:40 PM. Plus Overtime. MUST have weekend availability. 

Requirements of a Picker: 

• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Must pass background, drug screen, and E-Verify
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Prior experience in roles such as General Labor, Production Worker, Manufacturing Technician, Assembly Line Worker, Forklift Operator, Material Handler, and Maintenance Technician is a plus!

Responsibilities of a Picker:

• Locating and retrieving specific rolls, sheets, or boxes of vinyl material based on order forms or picking lists. ??
• Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or order-picking machines to access and transport vinyl stock from warehouse locations (e.g., racks, shelves).
• Scanning and logging inventory and order data using a handheld radio frequency (RF) scanner or warehouse management system (WMS).
• Moving full pallets of picked orders to the staging or loading dock area.

• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, especially when operating heavy machinery and handling potentially bulky or heavy vinyl rolls. 

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and storage locations within the warehouse.
