**Job Description:
**
The position involves providing specialized neonatal care in a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 17 patients.
Responsibilities include managing care for over 400 NICU admissions each year and participating in a combination schedule that comprises both 24-hour in-house coverage and 10-hour day shifts.
The practitioner will deliver advanced neonatal services, which include High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), nitric oxide therapy, and therapeutic cooling.
Collaboration with a team of seven neonatologists within a well-established practice is essential.
Additionally, the individual will engage in teaching and mentoring observational students and work within a regional perinatal center that facilitates approximately 4,000 deliveries annually.
A multidisciplinary approach to neonatal care is to be supported, with close collaboration with obstetric and pediatric teams being crucial.
**Qualifications:**
Candidates must be Board Eligible (within five years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatology—this requirement is non-negotiable.
A medical license in New Jersey or a willingness to obtain such a license is mandatory. Relevant experience as a Neonatologist is required; candidates should include their years of experience in the additional notes section.
A clean malpractice and license history is highly preferred.
