Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $20.75 - $20.75 / hour
Provides high-quality diagnostic electrophysiographic exams in accordance to the policies and procedures that are provided by the Lee Health Cardiovascular Department. A Level 1 technician must specialize in non-invasive electrophysiographic exams. Technicians must be proficient in EKGs, rhythm strips, and holter monitors. The position requires to be available for overtime and be able to work flexible hours and days of the week to include weekends as determined per specific department needs.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:Minimum of 6 months experience preferred.
Certification:Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire.
License:N/A
Other:Basic department specific EKG competency is required within 6 months of hire date. Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills.
