Job Description

E-logic is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a significant project enhancing FDOTs operational Linear Referencing System (LRS) capabilities through advanced geospatial data integration. This role involves managing the project lifecycle coordinating specialized technical teams and ensuring all deliverables meet FDOTs strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan monitor and control all phases of the IT project to ensure on-time completion within budget and to stakeholder satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and lead the effort to create and deliver an FDOT operational LRS based on needs and requirements.
• Assemble and coordinate project team members (including Analysts Engineers and Architects) and assign individual responsibilities.
• Establish clear project objectives benefits scope and success criteria proactively managing risks issues and schedules.
• Facilitate project decisions throughout the lifecycle and provide escalation of any issues risks or concerns.
• Manage procurement processes negotiate contracts and ensure vendor compliance for all project-related services and products.
• Oversee and coordinate the development of geospatial data management and integration for operational system improvements.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience managing large-scale IT projects preferably in a government or transportation environment.
• Proven experience with project and program management life cycles including systems development life cycles.
• Expertise in project scheduling tools (Gantt charts resource management) and project/portfolio software (e.g. MS Project Jira).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
