This Position reports to:
Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mount Juliet, TN

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will work on a team focused on improving the customer experience in product quality and performance in the warranty returns area of the warehouse. Oversees quality improvement initiatives in all areas of the value chain from suppliers to customer. Ensures high quality assistance to the customers for all technical or application critical situations related to the products. Assure that products and systems meet stated requirements in a cost effective and safe working environment within the local business.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Drive warehouse quality center operational efficiency and lean improvements. Evaluate and determine functionality of products returned to accept or reject based on technical specifications, quality standards, established procedures, etc. Maintains complete and accurate data in the ERP system (SAP) and customer-facing system (Salesforce).
  • Ensures the quality control of the system processing and product testing according to international standards and internal procedures. Ensures the local organization has the necessary hardware and software capability to assure products and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations.
  • Acts timely as coordinator in customer complaints to analyze root cause and take corrective and preventive actions working within cross-functional teams. Promotes the voice of the customer at the local unit and assists that risks, problems, and solutions are evaluated from a customer/stakeholder point of view.
  • Designs, develops, and implements effective metrics that show inefficiencies, prioritizes areas for improvement, identifies improvement actions and focuses on causes and corrective actions to reduce waste; Oversees weekly and monthly quality reports and improvement activities. Monitors and reviews progress and suggests correction to meet the key performance indicator targets. Uses quality data analytics from the organization to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility
  • Strong teamwork skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with low voltage products devices and regulations (IEC/UL/CCC/CSA)
  • Experience in Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Experience in Supplier Relationship Management
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
