Become a Shared Living Provider with Envisions

Are you interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? Envisions is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to become Shared Living Providers (SLP).

Role Overview:

As an SLP, you'll provide residential habilitation services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The individuals will move into your home, where you'll help them develop skills to become more independent and, potentially, transition to living on their own someday.

Compensation:

• Annual Salary: $36,000 - $105,000 (tax-free), depending on state funding for the individual.
• Monthly Stipend: $700 for Room and Board to cover groceries, rent/mortgage, etc.

Selection Process:

• Client Choice: Clients and their guardians personally select their SLPs to ensure a good fit.
• Trial Stay: Individuals are encouraged to meet and stay overnight with potential SLPs before making a final decision.

Requirements:

• Background Checks: All SLPs undergo state and federal background checks.
• Training: Envisions provides comprehensive training in CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Behavioral De-Escalation, Financial Management, and Online Documentation.
• Compatibility: SLPs are required to read and understand individual profiles to ensure compatibility and to provide personalized support.
