FUNCTION:

The Program Manager/Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) is responsible for the overall management of the assigned residence and the supervision of Direct Support Professionals. The Program Manager/ QIDP will coordinate all aspects of care for individuals with developmental disabilities in order to ensure active treatment is provided on an ongoing basis in the least restrictive environment, in accordance with OPWDD regulations

OVERALL RESPONSIBLILITES:

· Ensures ongoing compliance and quality assurance with State and Federal regulations pertinent to the operation of the facility to which he/she is assigned. Ensure Regulatory requirements and quality guidelines are met at the highest level to guarantee that valued outcomes, staff supports, habilitation activities and protective oversight measures are implemented or revised to meet individual’s needs. Monitor the residence to maintain the highest standards and the individuals’ safety and well-being is ensured.

· Monitors the timely completion of house systems, including but not limited to house maintenance, fire safety and vehicle maintenance.

· Oversees the management of Direct Support Professionals with the Individuals. Ensure that Individuals are provided with high quality, cost-effective services

· Provide supervision and training to Direct Support staff to ensure ongoing implementation of the funder regulations including but not limited to: core competencies, code of ethics, habilitation documentation, financial records, fire safety, incident reporting, etc.

· Develop person centered plans and assessments (including but not limited to: habilitation, protective oversight, site specific, etc.) for individuals receiving services.

· Review billing documentation including but not limited to monthly progress notes, daily checklists and attendance records. Ensure that billing is accurate, submitted timely and in accordance with OPWDD guidelines and agency policy.

· Oversee all financial systems in the residence including but not limited to individuals’ personal allowance ledgers and accompanying documentation. Ensure appropriate management of Individuals financial ledgers, assessments and other pertinent documents are maintained and in compliance with funder regulations.

· Conduct monthly physical plant inspection and follow-up. Ensures fire and emergency drills are conducted according to OPWDD regulations.

· Ensures notifications, reports and summaries for incidents are completed in accordance with OPWDD, Justice Center regulations and agency policies and procedures. Notifications and reporting of incidents is completed in accordance with funder regulations and individuals are safe and protected.

  • Maintain knowledge of regulations and internal procedures and are continually reviewed and implemented or revised to ensure compliance and meet the individual satisfaction and safety.
  • Routinely reviews OPWDD’s regulations and agency policies and procedures.

· Related duties are performed completely, on time and accurately

· Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education,

· Psych, Social, or in a related Social Services OR a degree in

Nursing as a Registered Nurse

· Field; One-year experience in working with Developmentally Disabled.

On – call 24/7 Must have own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,300.00 per year
